How It Started
The original idea by Byron F. Garcia came after watching the movie Shawshank Redemption and the sounds of Mozart's Figaro was played in the prison yard. Garcia started an exercise program where prisoners marched to the music of Pink Floyd " Another Brick In The Wall ". He also expanded to the pop music of " In the Navy " and " YMCA " of the Village People. It wasn't until Garcia Upload the Michael Jackson song Thriller, when the dancing prisoners of Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center became a hit with millions of viewers. The prison now even has its own official choreographer teacher.
